HPV Virtual Retraining & Discussion on HPV Projects
The Alliance for HPV Free Colorado invites you to join in a retraining and discussion focused on the prevention of Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and early detection of HPV-associated oropharyngeal cancers. Your professional input and experiences are valued and needed to enhance awareness of HPV and the HPV vaccine to decrease the prevalence of HPV related oropharyngeal cancers.
Outcomes of the course discussion will help to inform recommendations to optimize and enhance HPV education, awareness, and vaccine uptake for patients in dental settings throughout Colorado.
Learning Objectives:
- Explain the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) connection to oropharyngeal
cancer and the HPV vaccine in oropharyngeal cancer prevention. - Recall the components of a comprehensive oral cancer screening
- Compare experiences implementing and participating in the HPV quality improvement projects
